The Story Behind Harmonia
A personal search for balance that became something to share
Where This Came From
Harmonia didn't start as a product. It started as a search for answers—a personal journey to understand why some days feel aligned and others feel off, and whether there was a way to make sense of it all. That exploration led to the 12 Universal Laws: timeless principles that have been explored across philosophy, spirituality, and systems thinking for centuries. They became the lens through which to look at daily life— and eventually, the foundation for this app.
We're not claiming this is "scientific" or "research-backed" in the formal sense. It's born from curiosity, reflection, and a desire to turn abstract ideas about balance into something practical you can use every day.
The 12 Universal Laws
The framework we use draws on 12 principles: Divine Oneness (interconnectedness), Vibration (mindset and energy), Action (taking action on your plans), Correspondence (inner and outer alignment), Cause and Effect (the impact of your decisions), Compensation (effort and return), Attraction (thoughts and moods), Transmutation (transforming challenges), Relativity (perspective), Polarity (balance of experiences), Rhythm (natural cycles), and Gender (balance of different types of energy). Each one offers a way to look at a different dimension of your life.
How Harmonia Uses Them
When you log your Morning Plan and Evening Review, your inputs—activities, tasks, moods, energy, and more—are mapped to these 12 dimensions. Our system combines them into a single Life Balance Score between -100 and +100, so you can see where you're aligned and where to focus. You also get a breakdown showing how each dimension contributes.
The exact way we weight and combine these dimensions is proprietary. What we share openly is the philosophy: the 12 Universal Laws, the idea that your daily inputs feed into them, and the fact that you get one clear number and a transparent breakdown. The rest stays under the hood.
What Inspires Our Approach
Ideas from neuroplasticity (that thoughts and actions can reshape the brain), systems theory (interconnectedness), and positive psychology (the power of small, consistent habits) have influenced how we think about balance. We don't claim formal validation—we offer a tool for self-inquiry, built from a personal search for answers and a belief that these principles can help.
